In our opinion, it's a great base for travelling to Funchal. Helpful staff & lots of activities. Relatively near Church, walkable.

It was nice in general: non-smoking room, spectacular location. The staff were immensely pleasant, I loved that. Beds were spacious. Got amazing breakfast, fresh meals.
